General Information

COMMON NAMES: Two-lipped Filmy-fern

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (+++)

KEY FEATURES: A small fern on damp rocks, to 9cm. FROND STALK to 3cm, distally winged. FROND BLADE ~flat, triangular, to 6x3cm, branching 2-3x (=tripinnatifid), branches winged; SORI in cylinder between 2 terminal branches.
